DEADBOLT

This is a chilling psychological horror short film that blurs the line between a man's obsession with control and the supernatural forces that threaten to consume him. The story follows a man in his late 30s, struggling with severe obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Each day, he is consumed by an unrelenting need to check and recheck—doors, windows, locks, all in a futile attempt to keep the world outside at bay.

On this particular evening he begins his nightly ritual, moving from room to room in his house, locking every door and window with a compulsive precision. The process is slow, deliberate, and increasingly erratic, as though each lock and bolt is a fragile tether holding his sanity together. But this time, something feels different—something is different. The air feels colder, heavier, and as he moves deeper into his routine, He begins to feel a creeping presence lurking in the corners of his home.
